Airplanes can be fun !

Alex had his first flight to go to Grandma and Grandpa Q's. Most of our flights he slept, except here where he is navigating a new toy. He had no ear problems, needed no "sleepy drugs" and didn't seem to mind flying...I on the other hand...still don't like flying and was hoping somebody would give me a soothing chew toy for distractions.

Alex met his Aunt, Uncle and Cousins

While we were in Santa Cruz, Shaun's Brother and his family came down to meet Alex. Apparently Alex didn't waste any time getting around to horsing around with his cousins. I didn't realize it until poor Cat let out a yelp that Alex had found her hair and was giving it a firm yank while we all smiled and said cheese. Gonna have to watch those hands a little more carefully now!

Alex and I went over hill and dale to grandma and grandpa's house in Santa Cruz. We had a great time! Alex saw the ocean for the first time and got his toes wet and sandy.
I don't think he really knew what to make of the
waves or the beach for that matter, but we had a fun time playing.
