High Desert Hijinks

Alexander David has joined our small family here on the High Desert. Alex joined us Sunday February 19 and we are most excited at his arrival, as well as a bit anxious for the changes coming our way. You are invited to come and check out our blog whenever you like to see what we are up to, view photos and witness the hijinks about to ensue here in our little home on the High Desert. Thanks!!!

Diamond Lake 2008

One of the many baby in a bowl baths

My dad and horseshoe games

How'd he do that?

Mom's Birthday. Did I mention I'm 23?!

Anxious Helper. Check out the tongue on Helper. Wonder what he's thinkin'?

Mmmmmmmmmmm!

Getting ready to cast

Another much needed bowl bath

Beer tasting and Seaside appetizers. Fortunate for me, this was the contest that I planned on giving away our "delightful" Bigmouth Billy Bass singing fish on a wall that was given to me at a White Elephant party this winter. Unfortunate for me, my husband won the beer tasting...by a landslide. He got all, every single one, 100% of the beers right. He distinguished the subtle nuiances between Bud, Miller and Pabst. Luckily our little guy was afraid of "scarry fish" as he called it. Big Hubby being the awesome man that he is, selflessly gave up "scarry fish" to my Cousin. Sorry there Cous....and thanks for taking the Fish!!!

The Boy's new two Loves

Ready for a boat ride with Grandpa

Grandpa and Little Guy rowing. Mom's got it easy

Another Baby in a bowl ...are you seeing the frequency of dirt...?

FISHING!!

Mom, Dad and little boy with his new buds, the box of night crawlers.

I wish I could say He dressed himself. Or that his Daddy did. But alas, it was I, Mom who put his clothes on backwards today. Pay no mind son, this way they can't tell if you're coming or going!
